Company Background

Rocom Ltd are a Yorkshire based telecoms distributor operating throughout the UK.

The Requirement

Comms Design, Rocom’s graphic design department, had created the 2003 product portfolio. The requirement was for a new look to the Rocom web site to tie in with this new catalogue.

The Solution

Following the design of the portfolio we were able to put together a website which reflected the branding and style used.

The design of the portfolio was done by our in house design team Comms Design. Much of the imagery was also specifically shot for the brochure by Comms Design which meant that the New Media team had easy access to all images.

Rocom wished to provide a source of information for all our customers but not to overwhelm them with irrelevant information. The site was built with our 5 main customer groups in mind, each being directed through the site to information tailored to their needs.

In addition to this product and service information the website was integrated with a RocomX catalogue and a comprehensive account ordering system enabling customers to manage their Rocom account online.
